THE EDGE ENSEMBLE PRESENTS THE FOURTH PLAY IN OUR NEW HOME: 

QUICKIES: AN EVENING OF TINY PLAYS

ORIGINAL PLAYS BY VARIOUS LOCAL PLAYWRIGHTS

DIRECTED BY KIM DUPUIS, PAIGE LUSSIER JOHNSON, SHERMAN MORRISON, AND CATHERINE BEHRENS

PERFORMANCES ARE ON NOVEMBER 10, 11, 12, 16, 17, 18 @ 7:30 PM AND NOVEMBER 12 AND 19 @ 2:00 PM

 

The Edge Ensemble Theatre Company will present an evening of short plays at its new home at 310 Marlboro Street, Suite 112, Keene.  Performances will be at 7:30 PM on November 10, 11, 16, 17, 18 and at 2 PM on November 12 and 19. 

 

Four directors will take on 8 short plays, written by 5 different playwrights.

Kim Dupuis will direct 4 of the plays.  The Hotel Aristo Bialystock by Sean McElhiney will feature Nico McMillan and Catherine Behrens.  Susan Goodell is the author of Pie in the Sky, starring Carin Torp, Cynthia Rodier and Rob Gray. Miss Third by Rachael Austin features Damien Licata, Catherine Behrens and Carin Torp. Cat Woman, also by Rachael Austin, stars Roberta Barnes, Cynthia Rodier and Andrew Bosworth. Paige Johnson will direct 2 plays by Susan Goodell, When Violet Met Watson with Roberta Barnes and Tim Haggerty. and For the Moment, Rehatched with Carin Torp and Eve Pierce. Catherine Behrens will direct The Ice Fisherman by Dan Patterson, which will feature Rob Gray and Noah Carmel.  A Fortune Cookie, written and directed by Sherman Morrison, will feature PeggyRae Johnson and Catherine Behrens. Bruce Elliot is providing the interlude music.

 

All of these short plays are charming, funny, and offer many visual delights! The production will include a little something for everyone: reincarnation, magical seagulls, the apocalypse, magical key lime pie, boudoir photography, magical fortune cookies, internet dating, and catwoman and batman!
