About The Edge Ensemble

The Edge Ensemble Theatre Company was founded by Kim Dupuis in 1990. After 20 years of performing in the local community, we have finally settled in downtown Keene, New Hampshire.  Our company members, all from Keene and the surrounding areas, have participated in productions that have earned us a reputation for artistic excellence.  In 2008, The Edge Ensemble was hired by the Jonathan Daniels-Martin Luther King committee to stage Lowell Williams’ Six Nights in the Black Belt, which we performed to sellout audiences in Heberton Hall in the Keene Public Library Annex.  Since then we have produced 27 plays in downtown Keene including our last sellout production, A FEW GOOD MEN!

About our name ...

We strive to work on the cutting edge.

We aim to include edgy material in our seasons.

We dare to go beyond our comfortable edges.

We were inspired by this poem written by Christopher Logue.

Come to the edge.
        We might fall.
Come to the edge.
       It's too high!
And they came, and he pushed, and they flew.
